Discrimination Ombudsman (DO)

The Åland Discrimination Ombudsman (DO) works to promote and safeguard equal treatment of residents by various authorities within the public sector and investigates cases mainly related to the workplace (public sector). If you feel that you have been discriminated against, the Åland Discrimination Ombudsman can assist you with advice, and can also help you bring forward complaints and in other ways promote your rights. For matters relating to discrimination or harassment in a private sector workplace, please contact the Office of Protection of Labour of the Åland Islands.
